The name says it all. Amazement Farm and Fun Park offers at least half a day's worth of fun activities to its visitors, young and young at heart alike. While its website lists many fun activities to engage in, the idea of mazes for children had me the most excited to visit. Located on Yarramalong Road in Wyong Creek, it is just a short five-minute drive from the Wyong CBD - it is a world away from the bustle of the township, with wide-open spaces and surrounded in greenery.
Heart shaped children's maze
Ample parking is available a short drive from the site's street entrance; an easy walk's distance to the main entry. An expansive picnic area and playground greets guests upon entering the site, which leads to the various attractions on offer. There are three maze adventures to embark on - the smaller heart-shaped maze by the café and bigger more elaborate mazes further into the property. It is a thrill for children and grown-ups alike to make their way through the hedges in search of the way out.
Beautiful peacock
Amazement has friendly farm animals that can be viewed during scheduled petting shows or via a complimentary train ride around the farm. Pet rabbits, lambs, ducklings are among the little animals you can gently touch during the shows, or you can walk alongside the magnificent peacock and rooster just roaming the grounds.
The kids' playground area offers giant checkerboard and ball games, picnic areas, and just an open expanse to run around. The Maze terrace café has delicious food freshly made to order to enjoy around the grounds or at the covered outdoor seating overlooking the heart maze. Be sure to check their website or social media page and plan your visit to see the scheduled attractions you wish to attend as various attractions are available on a rotating schedule basis.
