Alzheimer's Information Day

Randwick Council, Eastern Sydney & City of Sydney Dementia Advisory Service, Medicare local (Eastern Sydney) and Alzheimer's Australia are providing an information day for people with concerns about their memory and for carers of people living with dementia.

This is not a presentation but drop in access to knowledgeable staff who can help answer queries or provide information.

Perfect if you have an interest in finding out about memory loss and ageing, how to reduce the risk of developing dementia or even want an idea of what support programs and local dementia services are available.

Held at Randwick Town Hall on Wednesday 28 August, between 10 am and 2pm. While an informal setting, bookings are required so call 9399 0972 or email frida.kitas@randwick.nsw.gov.au.

Find out about how exercise can keep your brain healthy and remember, "It is never too early to adopt brain-healthy habits." (Associate Professor Marc Budge)

Your Comment
This is a great idea. So many people suffer from Alzheimer's and Dementia and yet I don't feel enough is known about it. Both of my great grandparents suffered and if my family had known more at the beginning, things would have been better for everyone - my grand parents included.
