The human brain works in mysterious ways. Its complex neural circuitry continues to puzzle scientists. Extensive research is being conducted to unravel the secrets of the brain and the strange & untimely diseases that pester it. Debilitating neurological problems might not always be genetic and can hit anybody at any stage of life. An inevitable neuron numbing disease lurking in the grooves of the most powerful organ of our body can befall the fittest.

As a contribution towards the global fight against brain diseases, Alzheimer's Australia encourages research and supports Dementia policy and services that include counselling and professional training. And as a fund raising initiative, it organises Annual Memory Walk and Jog across the Australian territories.
The 2016 Sydney event will take place on the 1st of May at the Leichhardt Oval #3 in Lilyfield.
