Always Live is back for 2024, and showcases our home-grown talent, acts from across the country and international artists. Only in Victoria with free and ticketed events from 22 Nov to 8 Dec - See here for the Program . People travel across Australia to enjoy these 17 days of music, and if you're one, the home page has a section where you can plan your visit. There are so many amazing artists to choose from, you'll be hard-pressed to get that itinerary going. For me, one of the first I'm going to see has to be my favourites, Emma Donovan , and this time she's bringing her 'friends'. See here for details . Not only will Emma be appearing at the event, but her curated lineup of stunning First Nation talent will be joining her in a captivating afternoon of storytelling that celebrates Indigenous excellence. Enjoy performances from Deline Briscoe, David Arden, Candice Lorrae, Jayden Lillyst and set against the backdrop of the Wurrdha Marra gallery on Sunday 24 Nov 2024 from 11am at the Ian Potter Centre, NGVA, Fed Sq. corner Flinders and Swanston Streets, Melbourne. Some of the ticketed events include Blaktivism with 'Baker Boy' heading the lineup of living legends and rising voices of First Nations musical activism. For an international flavour upcoming soon on 22 Nov, you have from Virginia USA, Always Live at Max Watts with Anees at Northcote Theatre, Northcote. An independent artist and songwriter, Anees' music is a genre-bending treat of ear-candy melodies, sublime rhyme-scheming and crooning lyricism. His authentic blend of pop and hip-hop with an R&B tone often draws comparisons to artists such as Mac Miller, Jon Bellion, and Chance The Rapper. There are also 'at the gardens' events, where you'll find Chet Faker on the same date (22 Nov), and tickets can be bought via given links here for both Baker Boy and Chet Faker. Chet will be performing at the Royal Botanic Gardens at this very special one-off show to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his iconic album 'Built on Glass'.
