Ooo la la! Do not miss this. And it really doesn't matter if you can't speak a word of French - the films all have subtitles. What you want to enjoy is the range of contemporary French films, that fabulous French feel with lots of French comedy; films like "2 Autumns 3 Winters", "La Vie Domestique", and "Me myself and Mum". Movies screen at Palace Cinemas and there are adventures, romantic comedies, and even some documentaries and historical features. My problem is I am keen to see them all so selecting the few I will put in the diary will be hard. Check out the programme here.

Don't forget that the Alliance Francaise in Brisbane holds Friday movie nights on the last Friday of each month, which are completely free. A couple of interesting films are being screened soon; on the 28th February "Les Gamins" and the 28th March "Donnant Donnant". Screenings start at 5.30 pm. The venue is quite small so get there early if you want get comfortable seats. Read about it here
