Alliance Francaise is a network of French language schools and cultural centres throughout the world with a mission to promote the French language and culture. They offer a range of French language classes and cultural activities and events throughout the year.

Lovers of French culture, language enthusiasts, travellers and former or present French language students may be interested in the summer program. Alliance Francaise de Perth has announced a series of workshops which will take place in January. It includes a series of recreational workshops and French language revision classes for those who need to brush up on their French language skills.

Did you know that French was the most studied language in the world , other than English and the most popular European language studied for senior secondary students in Australia?



It looks like there will be a couple of fun classes here, a workshop based on the Netflix series Lupin, about the gentleman burglar Arsene Lupin, another is a cooking class where you will learn how to make La galette des rois, a popular French cake traditionally enjoyed on January 6th for the Epiphany. There is also a geography class discovering the French region Normandy which will be in French and include a mini-degustation of camembert cheese and tarte de pommes (apple pie).
