At last, père Noël is on his way to Alliance Française to preside over his annual French Christmas Market . This is the only place in Brisbane (possibly the world) where you will find the perfect Christmas gifts for your friends and family while you also take part in free trial French language classes that can also become French cooking master classes.

All I can say is, "Magnifique!"

For this unique experience head on over to Alliance Francaise de Brisbane at 262 Montague Road, West End on Saturday, 16 December, 2017 where the French Christmas Market 2017 opens at 8.00am and runs through until 1.00pm.

Entry to the Markets is FREE.

In keeping with true French tradition, everybody is welcome whether you've been naughty or maybe a little bit bad throughout the year. Come along and join these 'Merry Christmas' French festivities.

You will be amazed at all the things you can buy, see and do at this year's French Christmas Market. Alliance's partners for the day who include:

But these Markets are not all just about shopping and although you will be able to find everything you need to fill all the Christmas stockings hanging from your mantel (or bed posts) there is no shortage of exciting things to see and do at this year's French Christmas Market.

As you wander through the market you will be able to enter raffles that give you the opportunity to win some wonderful prizes.
As an added attraction, FREE trial language classes for all ages are provided on the day. If you are a new comer to Alliance Francaise you will be able to join in these free trial language classes. Organised to cover all levels of proficiency and for adults and children, the classes are designed specifically for people not already enrolled at Alliance Francaise but who feel they would like to learn French to see if it is what they want. As an extra Christmas bonus, if you decide you want to keep going you will receive a 20% discount on any 2018 French course, when you enrol on the day. As an added extra for 2017 the Alliance and Catherine de Chermont have arranged Les Masterclasses du Marché de Noël (The Masterclasses of the Christmas Market). Each of these three Masterclasses takes 30 minutes and presents, in French, how to prepare a different, delicious French dish using the traditions of la cuisine française. The best part is, each Masterclass finishes off with a complimentary tasting and drink.
