They must have been some disharmony when Allan House moved into the Main Street of Greensborough. It's only two shops down from the Vietnamese restaurant Linh Link that has been there for twelve years.

They both have dine in and takeaway menus. They also both have an extensive menu although it's not identical. They both have nine dollar luncheon specials.

Allan's House is perhaps predictably decorated in red. It has water features and décor consistent with Asian culture. It is fully licensed and B.Y.O. (wine only). Noodle dishes are a speciality.

On this occasion I thought I was going Ling Lings but my parents went to Allan House. It was busier than I expected for lunchtime. Then again I'm thinking that having a big lunch for only nine dollars means no cooking dinner so maybe other people have this same idea also.

The meals were delicious and looked great. The pork and fresh vegetables was perfectly cooked. The vegetables were crisp and pork soft. Lemon chicken is a bit of a favourite for me. This was crispy, just the way I like it.

It was great deal because we had prawn crackers, too much rice, the main meals and then fresh slices of orange with Chinese tea which was only $30 for three people. It was great value.
