If you are Russian or know anything of Russian culture, you would understand me if I say 'dacha'. Dacha is the place somewhere in the country or in the seaside town where family comes for holiday or whole summer. It is a home away from home, so to speak.

My family has chosen Lakes Entrance as such a spot, over the years. We have stayed at different places, from Esplanade Resort and Spa to Central Motel. However, a place I would call 'a home away from home' is Allambi Holiday Apartments .

I will not tell you anything new when I say that price and location are the most important things when booking a holiday accommodation. Also, I look for amenities, cleanliness, noise level and overall feeling of the property. I would like it to be clean, quiet and to have all the 'bare necessities', including lots of towels, good Wi-Fi and comfortable beds.



Allambi's hosts tick all the right boxes with their property off main street in Lakes Entrance. The apartments are so close to everything; they are much closer to the town centre and central beach, then the posh Esplanade. The rooms are clean and well furnished. You have everything on hand for a nice, quiet and comfortable holiday with your family. There are one and two bedroom good size apartments, swimming pool and DVD library to keep you entertained if you decide to stay indoors. Hosts are friendly, welcoming and accommodating.



Last week was the third time we stayed at Allambi. We are definitely coming back.



If you are looking for a comfortable holiday or a short break at Lakes Entrance for the right price and in the right place - Allambi is just that.
