Chef-designed brunch buffet on the waterfront with cocktails
Brunch designed by Executive Chef John Pye
The Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel has been busy turning this summer's public holidays into serious eat-a-thons - complete with dazzling views and enough Bloody Mary cocktails, mimosas and bellinis to shake off any hangover earned the night before. Between 9am and 12pm, the hotel's outdoor Beach Club is laden with a gourmet feast, designed by Executive Chef John Pye, and ticket holders are invited to eat as much as they like - in the spirit of classic NYC brasserie brunches. The 'Bay Brunch' has so far been held on Boxing Day, New Years Day, and Australia Day, and is next scheduled for Sunday, 15th February and Sunday, 1st March.
Bellinis on the waterfront
Exotic dishes on offer include Belgian waffles with crispy bacon and maple syrup, spicy Mexi-style eggs served with warm tortillas and fresh salsas, hand-carved glazed Kurobuta ham and cranberry sauce sliders and banana flapjack pancakes with salted caramel sauce and chantilly cream. Meanwhile, drinks are served from outdoor beverage bars, where you can watch the cocktail mixing on-the-spot. Ticket price includes one complimentary drink, but particularly thirsty brunchers can upgrade to a drinks package.

It's not only the premium quality food that gives the Bay Brunch its edge, but also its attitude to time. Rather than having to rush in and rush out, to make way for other diners seeking a piece of the harbour, you can spend literally hours eating, drinking and absorbing the views.
