Looks like its an all round Elvis tribute month coming up. The ARC Theatre is proud to present All Shook Up for 2014 and it's being performed at the Banyule Theatre in Heidelberg at 10 Buckingham Drive.

The King of Rock and Roll may be the inspiration for all the songs in this jukebox musical comedy set in a small town in Middle America in the '50s, but the hilarious plot is inspired by William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. I reckon it's going to be a toe tapping night to the sounds of infectious rock n' roll music and some visual hip shaking and guitar playing going on.

ARC Theatre is a not-for-profit organisation made up entirely of volunteers, which includes the company's management. They support and encourage Melbourne's youth to get involved in all aspects of theatre i.e. management, performance and technical operations. The youth of today are after all going to be the leaders in their fields of tomorrow and are very fortunate to have organisations like ARC supporting them. Check out their Facebook Page and 'like' them to keep up to date with all their events.

All money earned by the company, bar some, goes into future productions and activities. A portion goes towards The Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre (ONJCWC), and over the last three years, ARC has raised nearly $4000 for the ONJCWC. Sounds like a worthy organisation to support, so lets all go out in droves and watch the show and have a good time at the same time.

Performance season is at the Banyule Theatre, Heidelberg. For each ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the ONJCWC. Booking fees may apply.
