Football, meat pies, kangaroos and Japanese cars
Football, meat pies, kangaroos and Japanese cars. I know, it doesn't quite have the same ring does it, but for those who have a love of Japanese cars or even cars in general, the All Japan Day to be held on Sunday 28 February 2021, is a date to definitely lock into the calendar.
This is a spectator and exhibitor event to delight everyone. If you have a vehicle which has been either built in Japan or built or sold by a Japanese manufacturer and would like to exhibit your vehicle, this may be your event. Your vehicle must be either a classic, a modified vehicle (from any era), a "personal import" or something special. Further information is available at the website. The fee to enter your vehicle is $25.
For spectators, All Japan Day is free to enter however please consider that this event does raise money for charity, so a gold coin donation from each person entering is appreciated. All profits from the event this year will be donated to JDRF Australia; supporting research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.
Food trucks will be offering kebabs, chicken and chips, coffee, strawberries and BBQ.
Car enthusiasts will enjoy talking to stand exhibitors from Shannons, CI Performance Parts, Tokyo Prestige, Drifting SA and ULX 110.
All Japan Day 2021 will be held at Wigley Reserve, 621 Anzac Highway, Glenelg North. Gates open for vehicle entrants from 7 am and spectators can view vehicles from 9 am. Cars will commence departure from the Reserve from 3 pm.
