I'm a mother, wife, writer and online store owner. I've lived in the southern suburbs of Adelaide all my life.

Supernatural fans unite
All Hell Breaks Loose V

Do you reach for the salt when the lights flicker? Do you grin like an idiot when you hear the song Eye of the Tiger? If you do... you might be a Supernatural fan.

If not, go to your local DVD store, buy all seasons of Supernatural and watch episode after episode until you can identify an episode just from one screenshot on Pinterest.

Okay, so my nerd is showing. If you hadn't guessed based on the previous articles I've written including one about Doctor Who, I put up my hand and admit I'm a nerd - or a geek... ah the age old debate.

I think the correct term is in fact 'geek'; but, I digress.

If you are a Supernatural fan (I don't think there is a term for this like Whovians... Supervians perhaps... wait... no, that sounds creepier than neccessary). Whatever you call yourself, if you are in fact a fan / geek / Supervian, you have most likely heard about the shenanigans the cast get up to and the fun they have at conventions.

Mark Sheppard has played drums, Osric Chau has dressed up as Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time; the list goes on.

Now's Australia's chance to join in the fun (spelt craziness) and get up close and personal with the stars and other Supernatural fans.

On the 31st of May Corin Nemec, Richard Speight Jr, Matt Cohen, Mitch Pileggi, Mark Sheppard and the unforgettably quirky Misha Collins will be gracing Australia with their presence.

All Hell Breaks Loose V starts in Sydney on the 31st of May before moving on to Melbourne on the 1st of June to start the fun all over again.

Fans will have the chance to see the guys live, ask questions, buy merchandise and even have photos taken if they want (for additional cost).

I'll be honest and admit as much as I am a self-proclaimed nerd / geek / Supervian (that new term is starting to grow on me - I thought about this for at least 30 seconds and even Googled it to make sure I wasn't using a naughty word), I have never been to a convention of any sort.

I am not in fact attending this convention, but only because I will be relaxing on a tropical island on those dates; I did seriously consider changing my travel plans to stop off in Sydney.

Perhaps next time...

Embrace your inner geek, spend some time with other like minded people, and get ready for a great time of laughter. Who knows, maybe Misha will even write something inappropriate if you ask him for an autograph (wouldn't be the first time).

Until then... I'm sorry, I've tried to resist, but it has to be said, carry on and use the force - wait... what?
