is located at 291 Lakes Creek Road, Rockhampton. This park features a big footy oval with a goalpost on its end. The park has an irrigation system, so it is always well-maintained and green.
The field is called Warren 'Joe' Leo (OAM) field. It's a recognition of Mr Leo's dedication to helping others, both on and off the sporting field. Mr Leo holds the title of the longest-serving president of the All Blacks Sports Club, of which he is also a life member.
Mr Leo also played a leading role in his people gaining recognition as Australian South Sea Islanders. In 2013, the naming of the field was a fitting tribute to this community icon, especially in the year that commemorated the 150th anniversary of the arrival of South Sea Islanders in Queensland.
You can also find a fenced dog park at this parkland. There are benches inside the dog park, drinking water fountain and agility exercises for your fur babies. A concrete slab with a mobile skate ramp, that serves as a half-court, can also be found here.
There are some big shady trees along the parkland, picnic tables near the carpark area and an amenities block.
