Japanese Taiko drumming is hypnotic, gets the heart pumping and is exhilarating to watch. Imagine being at a concert of 14 teams from across Australia and Japan, performing at a one-off event. Showcasing the energy and love of drumming in the Australian taiko scene, this event has a special guest, Hiro Hayashida from Japan. He is an internationally-renowned Katsugi Okedaiko performer who was a member of Kodo for seven years from 1985 and has been recognised highly all over the world for his new style and his musicality. With an ability to create very difficult compositions even in the Taiko world, Hayashida Sensei is an excellent performer, composer and producer.

Grab your tickets HERE for the performance on Saturday 7 July 2018 from 6pm to 9.30pm at the Mic James Tatoulis Auditorium, Methodist Ladies' College, 207 Barkers Rd, Kew. Doors open at 5.30pm. Online sales close on the 6th of July and cash only tickets at $5 more, will be available at the door, unless sold out prior to the event. Children under 6 are admitted free of charge, however, be warned, that seats are subject to availability. See details on ticket link given above.

Hosted by Wadaiko Rindo who can be seen at all big events and festivals across Melbourne, they have carved their name on the hearts of Melbourne fans.
