Kinesiology is the method of testing the resistance of a muscle when a small amount of pressure is applied. Depending on the client's strengths and weaknesses of his or her muscle, the outcome determines which ailments or subconscious emotions are affecting a person's body and his or her response to health.

Kinesiology was originally developed in the 1960s by George Goodheart DC Dr George Goodheart DC , who was a chiropractor. While noticing that basic Chiropractic adjustments were not providing complete relief from physical disabilities, he discovered the relationship between Chinese meridians, muscle groups, organs and glands in the body that played a major part in achieving better health results on all levels – emotional, spiritual, mental and physical.



Kinesiologist Alison Dunlop has been providing healthy alternative services for Fraser Coast residents since 2012. Her expertise lies not only in Kinesiology, but also includes treatments in stress, anxiety relief, self-care, relaxation through massage, inner strength and confidence-boosting, intuitive guidance, heart connection and essences, the latter of which are inspired by Angels.

Maryborough was not always Alison's home; she was transferred to the country town 35 years ago, through work. After dealing with generalised anxiety disorder, and wanting to create a healthier lifestyle for herself, Alison came across a local Kinesiologist, who provided the support and strategies to help her move positively forward. After such great results, Alison had to learn this life-changing modality. Alison gained her Cert 4 of Kinesiology in 2012, and her Diploma of Kinesiology in 2016. The rest is history!

I was fortunate to have been given a set of Essences from a friend for a recent birthday and was well aware of the aroma and gentleness of the combinations within each roll-on bottle. You can purchase these Essences individually or buy two or three. Some of the Essences come with small crystals at the bottom as an extra help for your journey to better health.
