Alimentari is a fine dining experience and the place to go if you are after gourmet Italian. They mainly seem to focus on breakfast and lunch through the week. On Friday nights you can go in, relax, have a bottle of wine or two and dine on the Italian version of bar food. If you don't like the bar food, just ask the friendly staff for a menu, turns out that all of the menu standards are available to order as well.

During the mornings they have an outside takeaway coffee area and expert baristas who thankfully understand pre-coffee-grunting as a second language.

Their lunch menu is an excellent list of all my favorite wines and they also have a food menu too as an added bonus. The meals are large serves and divine. From pasta to anti-pasta, soups, individual sized pizza's and much more.

My friend and I went on Friday night, I enjoyed a glass of their house red, an Italian wine I can not pronounce let alone spell. It was smooth and light, very easy to drink. Accompanying my wine was a Prosciutto Pizza. Thin perfectly cooked base with very tasty slices of prosciutto, Italian style tomato sauce and loads of flavour. My friend enjoyed the soup of the day which was Minestrone, served with fresh crusty bread.

Disabled access is great. You can easily access the outside area where the coffee cart. Entry into the establishment is through the main glass doors. There is a low threshold but nothing that could stop my Mother on her electric wheelchair. This establishment has disabled toilets with a sliding door for access.
