Christmas holiday family fun
Alice Wonderland Cobb & Co Toowoomba
Alice's Wonderland is on at Cobb & Co Museum 27 Lindsay Street, Toowoomba.

Fantasy fun for family members 3-8. Alice's Wonderland at the Cobb & Co Museum is a cleverly assembled educational exhibit and it's full of enthusiastic participants.

It's hands-on, colourful activities to stimulate the imagination of beginner scientists and adventurists, with mirrors into infinity, counting, getting strangely taller, holes through the centre of the earth and finding what Alice found.

Curiouser and curiouser. Optics, illusions like the shrinking hallway, wordplay, physics and maths. Peek through keyholes to find the Cheshire Cat and other friends of Wonderland.

Down, down, down the rabbit hole after Alice.

Did you know that your head is ¼ of your total body length or that Absalom smoked a hookah? There's background on author Lewis Carroll's book Alice in Wonderland, time telling with a big, red button and a photo op of your child looking too big for a tiny house.

Some of the fun things your children can do at Alice's Wonderland.

When it's time for refreshments, the kids can have a Fantasy Milkshake containing chocolate and strawberry. There's a huge tea set for the kids in the sunken play area and the cafe's scones are fresh and fluffy. The gift shop has Alice-related goodies in soft toys and miniatures.

Alice's Wonderland is a nationally travelling exhibition presented by Museums Victoria.

If you don't have kids, borrow someone else's, because this is a fun place. Crawl through a rabbit hole of adventure at Alice's Wonderland, Cobb & Co Museum, Toowoomba. Oh, and don't be late for this very important date!
