If you've ever visited the Northern Territory and any of the markets which occur, you will know that the markets are quite different to anywhere else in the world. Markets in Darwin vary from tourist markets such as Mindil Beach to locals markets and then there are the farmers markets which usually focus on local produce such as Asian greens, bananas and mangoes amongst others.

As a regional market, s do not fail to deliver in its uniqueness with an eclectic blend of food, local produce, arts and crafts.

If you are lucky you will even see a spinning demonstration.

The markets run every second Sunday from mid February to early December 9am to 1 pm, in the Todd Mall. In June, July and August the market finishes at 2 pm. See the market website for specific dates. A night market also runs late in the year.
