HELLLPPP! Your help is needed for this Alice in Yarnderland project. Stonnington Libraries are creating a crowdsourced textile installation outside Toorak/South Yarra Library inspired by the GLOW Winter Arts Festival's 'Down the Rabbit Hole' theme.

The installation will be based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. What fun to have your contribution in place for all to see. All of you, the community is invited to contribute knitted or crocheted projects (see videos below) to the installation, which will take place on Saturday 12 August at A Mad Tea Party. It matters not that you are a beginner or an expert. Do join in on this fantastic art project which is being coordinated in collaboration with Jane Mills of What Jane Knits, who runs a fortnightly beginner's knitting session at Malvern Library.

If you have any questions, you can email Library Events (libraryevents@stonnington.vic.gov.au) or call (03) 8290 8000. All completed projects must be taken to the Stonnington library by 1 August, so come one come all, ye knitters and crocheters, and have a fun time at this community project. Below are a list of projects that are required to incorporate into the installation. Lots of finger knitting, any length, any colour would be great! Flowers of any size and colour, pom poms, CD weavings, crocheted or knitted rectangles, bring it on! Start click-clacking!
