Alexandra Headlands on a Sunday morning, what a vibe - little nippers learning new skills for their future life saving or surfing exploits, families having barbecue breakfasts, the skate park already bustling and it's only 9 in the morning! An awesome spot to have an early breakfast with a forever-changing seascape.
We're not members of the Alex Surf Club…yet, but that didn't present a problem, a menu was presented, we could choose where we wanted to sit and once decided, give our choices in at the counter. The service was fast, efficient and the food literally ample enough to feed an army. I can only imagine the surfers coming in, after a couple of hours in the water, and being ready to devour anything and everything that was served to them - and Alex Heads Surf Club is only too happy to oblige. The fruit juices that we ordered, a fresh orange juice and a fresh watermelon, were exactly that….fresh and delicious! An English breakfast was our choice for the morning - you know the story, breakfast like a king - and definitely didn't disappoint.
The Alex Surf Club boasts the 'best seat on the beach' and continues to set the standard for surf clubs around the country. Having been voted the Best Surf Club in Queensland and the Best Supporters Club in Queensland six times, is a testament to how top-notch the Alex Surf Club really is. An incredible place for locals and visitors to the Sunshine Coast to frequent. Offering breakfasts, lunches, dinners, coffee and drinks, all very reasonably priced, you can't afford not to make them your next port of call.
