Operating since 2016, the Sunshine Coast Collective Markets is a grassroots platform for the local Sunshine Coast creative community to come together and showcase their craft to locals as well as to those visiting from afar. Whether you have been on the Sunshine Coast like forever, just moved here or are on holiday, the Sunshine Coast is proudly small-town at heart and big on creativity.



At the heart of everything the Sunshine Coast Collective Markets do is creation. These delightful markets are a well-curated, boutique-style market where quality over quantity is always key. The organisers believe in recognising creative small businesses and providing a platform for those who wish to make a better impact on the world by hand-making their products, restoring vintage finds or ethically sourcing the items they sell.

The objective of the Collective Markets is to provide the space for artisans to connect, encourage and inspire one another.



At present the Sunshine Coast Collective Markets have two pop-up venues - the Alexandra Headland venue and the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre. The Alexandra Headland pop-up is run in partnership with the Alexandra Headland Community Association Inc and showcases one of the most enviable locations, right at the beach!

Families, including our four-pawed buddies on a leash, can make a whole morning of it. There is certainly something for everybody, whether you’re browsing the stalls, catching a wave or sneaking in a skate at the Alex skate park . It’s the perfect morning out.



When? Pop-up market days for the Alex Headland markets are usually during school holidays, on pre-determined dates.
Where? Either side of Alexandra Headland Skatepark
What? Market lovers will discover unique creativity, live tunes, plus the pristine beach!
Why? It goes without saying … nothing beats the ocean air and local treasures.
Parking? There are loads of car parks in the area, and the Alexandra Surf Lifesaving Club have also very kindly opened up their car park located off Mari St. Look for their logo on the gate entrance.
