Just under an hour south of Adelaide you will discover a great rest stop on the way to iconic Victor Harbor, the Aldinga Airfield café .

This little café is in the perfect setting and is a must see for people of all ages, even the little ones will have a great time. There is a small cockpit inside the café for the "little pilots" to explore and imagine themselves flying their very own plane while they wear the old leather helmet pilots wore decades ago.

The biggest draw card of this café is its proximity to the tarmac - whilst you are sitting on the vine covered verandah, enjoying a meal, light snack or a coffee, you are only a matter of 20 feet from the tarmac where you get to see the light planes and biplanes take off and land.

Biplanes you say? Yes, that's right, Aldinga Airfield is also home to Adelaide Biplanes . So, while your family is enjoying their time watching the comings and goings of the planes, you can have the opportunity of having a joy flight on a Tiger Moth.

If you are a plane enthusiast, looking for a nice setting to have a coffee, wanting a family friendly time out, or just looking for a place to stop at on the way to Victor Harbor, Aldinga Airfield Café and Adelaide Biplanes is the place to visit.
