Sat 17 Mar 2018

It's not often I wish to return to my childhood but sometimes, when they have events like this, I do, for almost one moment - 4 hours of fun and fantasy at Calista Oval, Kwinana from 11 am - 3 pm, on 17th March 2018 but only for children from 0 -12 years!

There's going to be oodles of activities for children, mostly hands-on and mostly free. There will be animals to pat and science activities to try. Karts to drive and drums to beat. Umbrellas to paint and Constable Care to see. (The umbrella activity will cost $3.00, to cover the cost of the umbrella).

Parents and caregivers haven't been forgotten. There are free, massages, food trucks and coffee to keep you going, so, sit back, relax, enjoy a massage and a cup of coffee.

Free, massage for parents? I wonder if that includes grandparents?

You may also want to come and see the Year 4 art exhibition by local primary schools. The exhibition is part of Kwinana's Environmental History project.

Remember, Gilmore Avenue, between Sulphur Road and Challenger Avenue.

If you have children, make sure you write the 17th March in your diary. You only need 4 hours from 11 am – 3 pm.
Their website and Facebook page have lots more information.

This day has been sponsored by Alcoa and LotteryWest.
