Logan City welcomes its newest riverside playground
Albert River Park, located in the Logan City suburb of Eagleby, now boasts an amazing multi-level adventure playground. In addition, this riverside parkland has received upgrades to many of its facilities.

The recently completed playground offers a series of impressive sky cabins (connected by a sky bridge) and a large observation tower. Both structures are accessed by climbing nets or ladders and feature their own enclosed slide.

Other play equipment includes a network of twisted climbing nets, 20m flying fox and an outdoor table tennis structure.

Shade sails have been erected over the playground, however, ample shading is also provided by the tall trees. Supervising parents have also been considered with the inclusion of sun lounge chairs, tables and shelters within close vicinity of the playground.

The previous playground remains on-site but now sports a matching bright yellow facade. The skate park has also been refreshed with a vibrant paint job.

Albert River Park offers wide open grassy spaces, multiple gazebos and extensive walking/cycling tracks. Visitors can enjoy occasional glimpses of the adjacent river, with easy access provided for interested explorers.

Unfortunately, neither the toilet amenities nor the car park have been upgraded. It is surprising that no additional parking spaces have been created to accommodate the increased number of visitors.
