The Adelaide Youth Theatre Company presents their version of the 1992 Disney film 'Aladdin', based on the folktale of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. The show will premiere at the Arts Theatre on April 28th, playing until April 30th.

Written and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, with music by Alan Mencken, it's the story of a street urchin named Aladdin and his monkey best friend Apu who seek the help of a genie.

Aladdin will do anything to gain the love of the beautiful princess Jasmine. She believes there's more to life then the inside of the castle and wants to see the world. The genie uses magic to make Aladdin pass as Prince Ali in order to marry the princess.

But when Aladdin is exposed as a fraud he's thrown in jail by the evil Jafar. Can Aladdin convince Jasmine's father The Sultan, that he's the right choice for his daughter, or will this be the end of Aladdin?

The musical play will feature all your favourite characters including Aladdin, Jasmine, The Sulton, Jafar, Genie and more. It will include all the songs from the movie including "Arabian Nights", "Prince Ali", "A Whole New World", "The Kiss" and more.

Don't miss your chance to see this amazing play at the Arts Theatre this April.
