Australians know very little about the Middle East. The Veale Gardens are an ideal place to hold a culture festival.I have never been to the Middle East...it would be very interesting;but much of it is unsafe.Best to avoid countries in turmoil. That being said, there is no reason to suspect trouble here in Adelaide, as the Muslim fraternity have for a very long time lived peaceful lives here.Their food is tasty and their history is fascinating.

Yes for fellow Australians
As Salam festival is indeed a very good platform to understand & observe Muslim culture closely
Good to see that every year the festival is arranged at a place easily accessible for most of us
Islam is not they are propogating on the media
It is a relegion of peace.

Thanks for writting about As salam Dave

Australia is a home to all of us and these kinda festivals will help us understand each other in a better way

Cheers Noel, yes the Muslim Afghan camel drivers were among the early pioneers of our state.
