You might have heard of Israel in the context of occupation, terrorists attacks or the Iranian nuclear bomb - but have you ever heard about Israel's lively culture?
One of Israel's rapidly developing industries is the film industry. Four Israeli films were nominees for the Best Foreign Language Academy Award in the last five years.
The AICE Israeli Film Festival is a great opportunity to get a feeling of the Israeli culture and life, as the Israeli see it and not via third party such as the media.
The festival will take place in Palace Centro, 39 James Street, Fortitude Valley Brisbane, on August 29th to September 5th. The official reception and opening night will take place on Wednesday, August 29th.
A single film ticket will cost $12 for movie club members and 5 film pass is $55 for movie club members.
