Update your wardrobe for free
Did you know that the average Australian only wears about a third of the clothes in their wardrobe? Maybe the colour doesn't suit you, you've gained or lost weight or it just doesn't "feel right". Now thanks to the ahm Fashion Exchange you can get rid of those mistakes and spice up your wardrobe with a selection of different clothes and accessories at no cost.
What is it?
The ahm Fashion Exchange offers a chance to bring unworn or nearly new items from your wardrobe and trade them for something new-to-you. Style commentator Paula Joye is an advocate of the event and will be swapping at Sydney. She says "It's like raiding your best friend's wardrobe. Waste less, shop more and look fabulous - all for free."
How does it work?
Bring up to six pieces of unwanted clothing. Drop them off between 10am and 12pm and receive a token for each. Use the tokens to shop the swaps between 12pm and 3pm, and return home with up to six completely different items. Any leftover clothing will be given to charity.
Clothing and accessories should be:
Washed and ironed
Free from faults or holes

Something you would lend to a friend
