Take a stroll down Unley Road and you're likely to come across Aggie's Op shop, which is run by St Augustine's Anglican Church and conveniently across the road from Unley Shopping Centre.



If you've visited Goodies Op Shop in Beulah Park, entering has a familiar feel. Below high beams and beautiful stained glass windows are a bewildering assortment of clothing, bric-a-brac, glassware, shoes and the usual collection of items usually found in shops of this sort including pottery, crockery, soft toys, books and board games.





The kaleidoscopic profusion of colourful items and racks creates an interesting atmosphere as, squeezing past a collection of leather jackets like an amoeba, shoppers can be confronted by as unexpected a sight as a closet full of nostalgic electrical kitchen appliances from the early 90s or a row of disquieting glassy-eyed dolls.



Part of the charm of Op shops is the charmingly jumbled juxtaposition of unrelated items as well as the thrill in picking up an oddity from the past for a bargain in the present.

is open 9:30am to 4pm on Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 1pm on Saturday.
