School holiday lantern fun & toasting marshmallows
Grab your coat, pull on your thickest beanie and join a Winter Lantern Tour at the Australian National Botanical Gardens these school holidays. Meet your ranger guide at 6:30am to firstly make your own lantern in their lantern-making workshop before taking a fascinating night tour of the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The experienced ranger guide will point out nocturnal wildlife and tell stories of the unique plants that grow here.

The best part for kids? Finishing the evening with supper and toasting marshmallows over the open-air fire. The evening finishes at 9pm.

*Not suitable for children under 5 due to timing and length of tours.
