Two full days of South African food, dance & music
Over the weekend of 28 & 29 May 2022, the African Festival Melbourne is being held at the Queen Victoria Market. This FREE event is a celebration of food, music, art and dance and you will not be disappointed with the line-up of activities happening from 10.00am through to 4.00pm.
The beat of the African drums and the live performances will have you toe taping and up dancing while enjoying the feast of flavours from Ghana, South Africa, Senegal,Ethiopia and more. This is a chance for you to meet new people, make new friends while appreciating the vibrant cultures of these countries. Meander around the African stalls selling giftware, jewellery etc. to purchase.

This event will be held in the RK/RL Sheds and bookings are not required. Come along with friends and family and experience true African culture in a City that is a proud dynamic community that appreciates and celebrates its diversity.
