Get grooving with African drumming
Liven up your weekend with African drumming. Drum Effect promotes the joy of West African drumming and dancing. They regularly hold beginner workshops in playing the djembe, a traditional West African drum. Teacher Kate will teach you the basics of playing the djembe and get you grooving in no time.

The next beginners' workshop will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 2.30pm to 4pm at the Canberra Baptist Church Hall, Currie Crescent, Kingston. Cost is $35 or $40 with drum hire.
