Hello, my name is Alexis and I am a professional Female DJ/MC known as DJ Slexie. Being a DJ/MC, I get to visit amazing places, eat beautiful food, drink creative ideas, devour the atmosphere and share my experiences with you.
Gather together the rasta crew and head down to Kardinya Park shopping centre for an African drumming time! Moses From African Music Circles Is here to teach you and your children rhythm and fun (plus I think it will be really stress relieving). The music is amazing and it is so easy.
Moses Sets up a circle with ten chairs and an assortment of bongos, maracas, clapping sticks, and many other traditional music makers. Each person is encouraged to sit down and play, sing and learn. The session goes for an hour and is inspiring. Every fly fifteen minutes, Moses asks people to swap so everybody gets a turn at playing something, but of course the favourites are the bongos!
There are two sessions daily between 11-12 and 12-1 outside Kmart until Friday 18th July 2014.
