It's that one day in September…well now it's stretched to a week for footy fanatics and those who try to ignore the footy all year but can't resist the grand final.

AFL Grand Final action is on every day at Fed Square in the week prior to the AFL Grand Final Week. All stops have been pulled out for a free packed program of entertainment including music, performances, live broadcasts and a chance to meet the players live at the square. Unless it's a draw the MCG will be open to the public on the Sunday after the game for families to enjoy.



Free Events at Fed Square
Celebrate Toyota AFL Grand Final Week from September 22-28 at Federation Square.
22 - 26 September, 10am - 4pm & #8232 ;
Saturday 27 September from 1.30pm
Sunday 28 Sep 2014 10am - 3pm.

2014 Brownlow Medal
Monday 22 September& #8232 ;
A live fashion parade and player appearance kicks off the 2014 Brownlow Medal.

AFL Kids Day
Tuesday 23 September& #8232 ;
NAB will host an AFL Auskick Super clinic with players to thrill the kids. This event is for kids but there are plenty of activities for the whole family and Cartoon Network stage shows.



Channel V Live
Wednesday 24 September& #8232 ;
Bring in a deck chair and a picnic or indulge in the food from nearby cafes. Sit back and enjoy for live performances.

Footy Fanatics
Thursday 25 September & #8232 ;
Dress up in your team's colours (or one of the finalists) and be entertained by live musical acts on the Main Stage from 12pm.

Footy on Parade
Friday 26 September& #8232 ;
The exciting Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade begins at 12pm. The city will come alive with various activities throughout the streets of Melbourne and Fed Square.

Grand Final Day
Saturday 27 September
Pre-Match Entertainment will be screened at the MCG& #8232 ;Big Screen from 1.30pm – 2.30pm.
The AFL Grand Final& #8232 ;will be broadcasted on the Big Screen from 2.30pm – 5.30pm. So if you can't be there but want to join in on all the excitement and hears the roar of the crowd get there early for a good spot.

Post-match celebration
Whether your team wins or loses you can still attend the post-match celebrations. The MCG will open its gates after the Toyota AFL Grand Final for free entry to the public via Gate 3 from 5:30pm. From 6pm onwards, Hunters & Collectors and Birds of Tokyo will entertain fans. The Premiership team will be return to the stage at about 8:00pm.



MCG Open Day
Sunday September 28 10am to 3pm
Have a kick-to-kick with family and friends on the MCG. This is a rare and special opportunity. The player change rooms and the cricket viewing rooms are also open to the public. Roving entertainment and family based activities will keep everyone busy for the day. You can visit the National Sports Museum for only $5.

Access to the MCG will available via Gate 3 (National Sports Museum entrance).

If you register online and you could go into the draw to win great prizes such as a Walk on the MCG roof, National Sports Museum back of house tour or an MCG Tour and National Sports Museum visit.
