Just a person in love with her city.

Summers a-coming and so is the fun!

You see that? That's the sight of flowers finally emerging from the soil, the sun finally appearing from behind the grey clouds that have kept it hidden for months now. It's no other time of the year, but Spring and in my opinion, it's the absolute best time.

It's been such a long time since anyone has emerged from their households as the freezing cold weather has held us prisoners. But, there's finally a light emerging and it's finally time to step outside.

In exactly three weeks, it re-opens and I am talking about no other place but Adventure World, Perth's very own mini-theme park with rides that will knock your socks off, water slides that will fill you with adrenaline and such a peaceful environment that you'll be buying your seasons passes as soon as you leave.

It's no secret that Adventure World exists, nor am I bringing you any new news, I'm merely stating that it's time to start ticking off your list of things to do in the sun and Adventure World needs to be one of them. You can bring along the kids and let them explore the Kid's Cove with rides such as:

The Dragon Express

The Little Leaper

These rides have been especially made so your kids can still enjoy the rides that they aren't tall enough to go on.

Then there are rides for older people including The Rampage, The Powersurge and this magnificent Freefall that goes off unexpectedly:

Adventure World also has a lovely cafe area, where you can watch your kids run around outside whilst playing in the pool area. What makes Adventure World all the more worth it, is that the rides don't cost money once you get in. You can go on whatever you want, as many times as you want and the lines are relatively short most of the time.

Not everything is a ride either. There are paddle boats you can paddle across a beautiful lake in. Go-karts that you can race around a track or a train you can board which goes around the beautiful area of land Adventure World is located on.

So you see, for you chill-seekers, as opposed to thrill-seekers, it can be more relaxing than you probably expected.

Make sure to add Adventure World to your to-do list this Summer/Spring, it's definitely a scream - as the commercials say!
