Come and listen to Dr Rhiannon Evans, a Senior Lecturer in Ancient Mediterranean Studies at La Trobe University, discuss adultery in ancient Rome, how it related to divorce and who could get away with it. We may have the impression that the Romans were never happy unless at a wild orgy, but how true was this? For some Romans, adultery was a crime, for others, accepted practice.
