Make your own coffee cup or napkin rings using clay
Colour My Pot continues to push the boundaries of its supporter's creativity and artistic skills by implementing Clay Hand Building Workshops for Adults.

The next workshop takes place on Thursday, 27th of June, commencing at 10am and finishing at 1pm, in the C.M.P studio at 39 Middle Street, Cleveland.

What is so good about Clay Hand Building?

First of all, getting your hands dirty is grounding. It really is a getting back to basics experience.

Secondly, forget Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. There is no wheel work in this workshop which makes it a great introduction to the world of clay.

Lastly, creating your own piece is hugely satisfying.

What you will learn is the basics of pinch pots, coils and slabs. These techniques will help you to make a variety of items including pinch pot mugs, napkin rings, candle holders and ornaments.

Projects take at least two weeks to dry. Then, for an additional fee, you can come back and paint your creation and have it fired.

Price: $55 pp (includes all tuition, tools, materials and one clay item per person)Extra fee applies for painting and firing at alater date.

Reservations are required and can be made here.
