I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Enjoy A City Break
For something different, stay in your home city as a tourist. We recently chose to stay in the Darling Harbour area after attending a performance of Singin' In The Rain. The Adina Apartments Harbourside provided a great base for our stay and the one bedroom apartment had more than enough space for us.

The convenient location is near such tourist attractions as Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Wildlife Sydney and Darling Harbour. King Steet Wharf bars, restaurants and wharves are across the road. The Star Casino and Barangaroo are only a short walk away.

Self catering, apartment, Sydney
Plenty of space

On site parking is available at $39 a night, but the location is also handy to public transport at Wynyard station and King Street Wharf. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and there are newspapers and water available in the foyer lounge area. There is an outdoor garden and BBQ area near the heated pool and a compact but handy gym.

The room was clean and had all the necessary items for self catering including a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The lounge and bedroom opened on to a decent sized balcony which would have been lovely to sit on in nicer weather.

We had a very comfortable couple of days in the Adina Apartments and were surprised at how quiet it was in the room considering its location in such a busy part of Sydney.
