Adelaide has been the best-kept secret of the mainland capitals for too long. But the word is getting out, with Adelaide leading the way. It has free CBD Wi-Fi, free city trams and a newly expanded Convention Centre and world class Adelaide Oval which make Adelaide a great place to live, work or play. There is real pleasure in showing a visitor what Adelaide has to offer.

With the CBD of Adelaide opening up it is time to share a new and upcoming meeting place called the
Blue Hive, which is revitalising the riverbank precinct.
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is keen to promote the regeneration of the riverbank precinct.

Along the Riverbank precinct
This is the area that overlooks the River Torrens and new footbridge and adjoins the Festival Centre area. It is also in close proximity to public transport, rail, tram and taxi.
There is loads of potential, space and foot traffic in this area, as more people visit the city.

The Blue Hive in action
The riverbank precinct has an ideal area available for use and hire called the Blue Hive.
This is a centrally located area at the southern end of the Riverbank footbridge.
