With so many great beach locations it is no wonder that Adelaide has plenty of spots to enjoy some seafood. Whether you enjoy cracking open a lobster or crab, enjoying some barramundi, or slurping down a fresh oyster, there is nothing quite as good as great seafood. So we're looking for Adelaide's best seafood restaurant, we want to know who does the best seafood in the city, and we want you to tell us.

The Star of Greece is a bit of a drive from the city, but with the spectacular views and delectable seafood you'll feel the drive was worth it. Here you'll find food inspired by Mediterranean flavours and the local catch. Try the Crispy Whitebait with a chipotle dipping sauce, or some Seared Tuna cooked to perfection. The Star of Greece is probably one of Adelaide's most well-known restaurants, but while many rave about it, the restaurant has also received a bit of flack for poor service and expensive meals. Whether they deserve the title of Adelaide's best seafood restaurant is up to you.

Adelaide is home to two different Oyster Bars, one at Glenelg and one in the CBD. You won't find a huge range of seafood here, because these guys deal mainly in oysters. The bar in Glenelg does serve up a few other options, if you're after something other than oysters you can try Salt & Pepper Squid, Salmon, or the Seafood Platter. Otherwise you can choose from a range of chilled or grilled oysters, including Oysters Caviar, Oysters Kilpatrick, and Oysters Thai. Both Oyster Bars are worth checking out.

Sammy's On the Marina sure knows how to do seafood, and they have such an extensive menu. You can start your meal with a Seafood Chowder, or some light prawns or calamari. There is everything from grilled fish, to pasta, to huge seafood platters. The Seafood Hot Pot is a great choice for winter, and if you're there with a group you should check out their meals to share including the Bucket-O-Prawns, Port Lincoln Mussel Pot, and the Oyster Shots. Their menu is creative and features just about any seafood combination you could think of.

Let us know your favourite place to enjoy the fruits of the sea, and let us know who in Adelaide does it best. We're looking for Adelaide's best seafood restaurant, and we've only named a few, so help us out and give us your tips on where to find a tasty seafood special.
