Food and words.

There are plenty of restaurants around Adelaide that serve some good pizza. Australia's Pizza House is great for a late night feed, and the Botanic Bar has great value pizzas that you can enjoy with a drink, but these places aren't very good when you're sitting at home, and want a tasty pizza without leaving the house. The cost may be extra, but it sometimes seems like a necessity, so we've decided to try and find Adelaide's best home-delivered pizza.

The well known names in the business are Pizza Hut, Pizza Haven, and Domino's Pizza. None of them seem to be as big as they once were, and at times their pizzas seem a bit old compared to some of the newer names on the scene. Despite this they still deliver easy pizzas, offer vouchers and cheap Tuesday offers, and generally can get you a pizza quickly.

Marcellina Pizza Bar in Adelaide is a popular place for eat-in dining, but they also deliver and have some of the best delivery options around. Not only are their pizzas delicious, but they also deliver well into the early hours of the morning. Their earliest close of delivery is 1am, but on certain days if you get a pizza craving at 3am you can order from here. Often you choose home-delivery options when you have a craving, and cravings have a habit of hitting in the early hours of Sunday morning, Marcellina know how pizza delivery should be. They don't have online ordering yet, but it is on the cards.

Eagle Boys have been around for quite a while now, and they have a range of pizza options available. There isn't much point ordering from Eagle Boys unless you're after one of their gourmet pizzas, the other options on the menu aren't bad, but they are just a bit bland for the price. The gourmet options on the other hand are very tasty, and make an easy tasty meal when you get them delivered. A highlight of their menu is the Butcher's Block with chorizo, steak strips, bacon, ham, pepperoni, cheese, and hollandaise sauce. Make things easier and order online.

Crust Pizza are one of the newest faces in Adelaide, and they bring a new meaning to gourmet pizzas. With countless options, all full of flavour, it is hard to go past these delicious pizzas. You can order online, the website is really easy to navigate and you can easily customise your order to design your own pizza, or create a half and half.

Let us know your favourite pizza delivery options for those days when pick-up pizza seems all too far away. It could be one we've mentioned, or you might know somewhere else with quick delivery and tasty pizzas.

Thanks for the tip Marty. That is fairly close to me, so perhaps I'll have to try them.
Do they actually offer home-delivery? I couldn't find out online. :)
