If you haven't been back to the Adelaide Zoo for a while, it's time to return, as it's had quite a makeover.
Home to over three hundred species, the zoo's most recent claim to fame are the infamous giant pandas Wang Wang and Funi, the only giant Pandas in the southern hemisphere.

Entry is free for Zoos SA members and children under four, otherwise, prices begin at $18.00 for children aged 4 - 14 years. The zoo can be found in the heart of the city, surrounded by beautiful parklands and the Botanic Gardens, the perfect spot for an evening picnic after a long and animal-filled day.
With some careful planning visitors can catch several zookeeper presentations including Lion and hippo feedings, daily orangutan interactions, and other informative shows. The penguins are especially engaging, not to mention absolutely adorable, and can be seen at 2:45pm daily. The zookeepers are relaxed and friendly, providing plenty of opportunity for audience participation and questions.
