If you haven't used your bicycle in a while, dust off the cobwebs and make sure it's serviced so it's in tip-top conditions to participate in the on Sunday 19 September 2021 from 10am to 1pm ACST at Bonython Park, Port Road, Adelaide. The event is free, but you need to register . This is a casual tour of the infrastructural, natural and heritage sites of the Heritage Listed Adelaide Park Lands.

Departing from nearby - the Bonython Park playspace, the tour will circle the Adelaide CBD through the western, southern and eastern park lands, following the River Torrens back to Bonython Park. Council staff Matt Jorgensen and Anna McDonald will provide a detailed tour of the Adelaide Park Lands. Choose the pace that's suitable for you. Slow and Steady - Ideal for casual riders, riders with little legs on little bikes, family groups and people with lots of questions (allow 2.5hrs) or Quick and Ready - Ideal for confident riders, people with afternoon plans and those more into the ride aspect (allow 1.5hrs). Take in the natural features as well as cycling and walking features, and find out how things have changed in the park lands and what makes it such a unique place to walk and cycle.
