What type of experience does a tour give?
A tour through the Adelaide Oval complex by experienced, passionate Adelaide Oval guides allows the visitor to see and hear stories that would not normally be heard.
Not only is the history covered, but also stories of some of the notable sportspeople who have played there over the years.
Also areas that are not normally accessed by the public are covered including player's rooms, corporate facilities, media areas and the iconic scoreboard.

The Scoreboard
The opportunity to visit into the "bowels" of the scoreboard, dating from 1911, is a highlight in itself. The fact that it is still utilised today with the same mechanical technology and still using mainly original machinery is both unique and fascinating.
Ii is incredible to explore the 4 levels within the complex by stairs and gain a sense of what it is like for the scorers to work in that environment, especially during the hot summer season.
