Glenelg in South Australia has been attracting tourists and locals alike for as long as one can remember - and with good reason! The popular hub is surrounded by picturesque ocean views, fresh sea breeze, and a ton of family-friendly activities that will easily make anyone's and everyone's day out at the beach a memorable one.
While the Square may be an obvious choice for a catch up with friends, there is the Marina Pier towards the edge of the popular coastline-based suburb that has a brand new experience adding themselves into the close-knit family -
Adelaide Ocean Safari.
Taking up residence in the waters by the Pier among an impressive array of boats,
Adelaide Ocean Safari that is owned by
Tony and Sandy Coppins has travelled across the shore to bring their
Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari to Adelaide and promises to bring us a new and incredible way to enjoy the upcoming summer season.

An Aboriginal-Australian business venture,
Adelaide Ocean Safari wants their customers to have a culturally-immersive experience, while they go out to sea and get a glimpse of the beautiful marine life (local dolphins, seals, and sea birds) that makes the ocean magical and enchanting for people of any age-bracket.
Its state-of-the-art vessel is decked out with some nifty features that pay attention to close detail; through their LED lights that bring out a new sense of adventure during their twilight safaris that will treat you to a gorgeous view of the sunset, their life-jackets that are cleverly tucked away towards the roof of the boat, their transparent protective covers that will have you ready to go in windy conditions and also provide you with UV shielding, whilst not compromising on the view out at sea, the relaxing seating that allows everyone on board to get only the best perspective of the ocean, and plenty of space around to walk around and see everything that presents itself around them.

Throughout the journey around the coast, captain Tony Coppins also gives his audience an informative talk and is always ready to answer any burning questions that you may have about marine life, the Aboriginal Australian culture, and the Glenelg coastline that we experience along the way. It's quite an intimate experience, so I'd highly recommend gathering a group of friends together or if you're feeling especially adventurous, take yourself on a solo trip and get to know some awesome new individuals along the way!

Want to get on the
Adelaide Ocean Safari for a particular purpose? Well, you're in luck, because they are currently offering
a range of attractive safari options! If you're more looking forward to seeing some local wild dolphins in their natural habitat, opt for the
wild dolphin safari. Want to catch the sunset but the beach doesn't offer enough of a marvelous view? The
twilight safari may be your answer, as it promises to give you a gorgeous degree view of the Glenelg skyline at sunset.
How about taking that special someone out for a cruise and a feed or simply want to spoil someone? The
SEA-food and wine safari will cater to those needs with the crew sourcing the goods from the fantastic selection of restaurants and cafes that live along the Marina Pier (think of one of Marina Pier's favourites -
Oyster Bar or newly opened
Luciano's). Want to know more about the culture and traditions of the Aboriginal Australian owners? The
cultural safari will let you take in a stunning view of our coast, as you embark on an informative and fun experience with the crew.
