Re-invigorated and with a vision to make it easy to compete for drivers and crews, to get more cars on to the track, and to rebuild the spectator base, the (AMP) is back for their second season, one that they anticipate will be one of the biggest and best ever. New events and new formats feature strongly, and with some new and upgraded facilities, it will make for an ideal family night out.

This season sees a total of 17 nights of action plus several Sundays featuring the full range of traditional motorsports including speedway, sprintcars, stock sedans, supercross, motocross, burnouts and the much loved and entertaining demolition derbies. New events for this season include the Bikes and Bulls Rodeo in October where Brodie Carmichael and the Australian Freestyle Motocross team will invade the arena with a show that will put your hearts in your mouth. It's the first time the show will come to South Australia and certainly won't be for the faint hearted.

The Australian Supercross Series holds its Adelaide round at AMP in late October, while the National Street Stock Titles return to Adelaide from 15th to 17th February with stock sedans becoming a highlight on many of the racing nights throughout the year. In addition, one of the growth sports at AMP has been the burnout competitions and with that in mind there will be four major burnout competitions during the year.

AMP are also excited with the partnership formed with the High Rollers Car Club who will be hosting Skids Church on the last Sunday of each month. This event is for anyone to come and have a skid or to enjoy the trade stands, hair dressers, DJs and great food. Complementing these Sundays will be a number of Sunday Family Fun Days where the Classics, Juniors and some of the lower horsepower classes will be able to have a spin on the track with an intent to create a social atmosphere where everyone enjoys themselves in a family friendly environment.
