Get your friends, kids, family, partners and work mates together for the Adelaide Memory Walk and Jog organised by Alzheimer's Australia SA, held on Saturday 19 March.

This special event raises funds and awareness for Alzheimer's to help those who are impacted by dementia. Whether you know someone who is suffering or you simply want to be a part of a significant event to support those in need, purchase your ticket online and join in this great cause.

Approximately 342,800 are living with dementia in Australia alone, with around 25,100 people diagnosed with Younger Onset Dementia (under the age of 65, and as young as 30 years old). It's a terrible illness that deteriorates one's health, well being and general living. The enjoyment of life is difficult for sufferers and this is something that as a society we can assist with, particularly because dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and there is no known cure. With Australia's support and cooperation, raised funds are put towards Alzheimer's research.

Adult tickets are a mere $20, children and senior $10, and children under 5 years old are free. What better way to help others, and contribute to a good cause than to participate in this year's Adelaide Memory Walk and Jog. There's no better feeling than helping others. If you can't make it on the day, you can still donate money online.
