An annual fixture during the Easter weekend, the Adelaide International Kite Festival is making its return to Semaphore Beach from Saturday 30 March 2024 to Monday 1 April 2024. This event is organized by the Adelaide Kite Flyers Association, a club opened in 1997 for those who have an interest in flying kites.

At the event, participants can admire kites of various sizes and colours flown by both local and international kite flyers. Those who want to join in a bit of the fun can also bring their own kite or purchase one at the festival. A separate area is designated for those who are having a bit of fun so they do not interfere with the professional kite flyers.

To keep you entertained, there is also The Festival Marketplace offering a good variety of interactive activities, and food stalls so you do not have to worry about bringing refreshments. Entry into the festival is free so feel free to drop by if you are looking for something interesting to do over the Easter holidays.
