Did you know that a Certificate IV in millinery is the highest qualification for hat making in Australia?
Five talented ladies are the first millinery students to ever complete this course in South Australia. As a final component in the course the ladies must put on a parade to showcase their fabulous creations -They decided to use this opportunity to hold a fundraiser for 'Hats for Happiness Australia' a charity aimed at raising awareness of Australian Mental health. The money raised at this event will go towards the development of an app to support families who have a child needing hospitalisation or ongoing medical treatment and in support of children in distress due to medical procedures or long term illness.
You are invited to go along and view their beautiful creations in a fashion parade and display. The ladies will be available to help you try on anything that takes your fancy and answer questions you might have either about them or their work.
You will also have the opportunity to place bids on some of the hats and other merchandise in a silent auction.
Tickets include a drink on arrival, finger food, millinery parade and a chance to participate in the fundraising activities.
